As a community, we have partnered with three of the best security providers Dowry, EC and Fidelity ADT. With our partnership, we have additional benefits to make our lives more comfortable, easier and safer. Here is more detail:
- We have three dedicated Response/Patrol vehicles constantly within the Welview borders, 2 minutes away from your home. (They respond to all emergencies, even if you are with your own private security company).
- Discounted Dowry, EC and Fidelity ADT rates as a Welview member
- Dowry, EC and Fidelity ADT response teams available to assist whenever necessary.
- 27 fixed security cameras at all seven entrances into Welview area that are monitored by an Analytically monitoring company. If there is an incident members have access to this information. (Work in progress)
- The dedicated Response/Patrol vehicles are kept informed of suspicious activities the cameras pick up.
- Checkup call facility for our pensioners, with a phone or house call to see that all is in order.
- A backup service for emergency medical response, including ambulance as well as fire.
- Home and area assistance should your car have a flat wheel or a dead battery.
- Trauma support when needed and requested.
- Members are added to the area emergency Whatsapp group where they can quickly call for assistance and be kept updated of emergency occurrences.
- Members may advertise their business on the Welview web page, subject to committee approval.
Furthermore as an active and involved community we have also prided ourselves in the following:
- We have various communications via Whatsapp, Telegram, Facebook and our Website.
- Direct contact point with our Honeydew Sector 2 Community Policing Forum reporting on community issues relating to SAPS, JMPD, City Parks, JRA, Joburg Water, City Power, Pikitup, etc
- The WRA is actively addressing town planning issues that can affect property value in our area. We are assisting with power/water outages with our ward counselor, and engage with service contractors to fix-up our roads.

- Domestic watch meetings
- Regular social events
- Clean up of green belt areas – often in conjunction with SAPS, Pikitup and other RA’s
- As membership increases, more benefits will be added.
