Welview residents are invited to visit the Black Duck Shooting range. The event has been arranged to encourage firearm awareness, general safety and security. Honeydew Community Police Forum – CPF, Military veterans, and SAPS reservists will be there. You are all welcome to join in the fun or just to chat with someone from the Welview committee or our invited guests mentioned above.

To take part in target shooting on the day you would need to pay a R50,00 fee on entry to the premises (cash/card). All proceeds go directly to Black Duck Shooting Range.
Should you have your own firearm and ammunition there will be no extra cost.
For those that wish to shoot and do not own a firearm, firearms and ammunition is available at an extra cost (cost varies depending on the firearm).

Food and other refreshments:
Boerie rolls and cold drinks will be on sale at the shooting range. You are welcome to purchase refreshments or you are welcome to pack your own picnic lunch to enjoy on the day. Please remember to keep things tidy, we’d like to be welcomed back again.

While we have arranged this with Welview Residents in mind others are also welcome.

If the event is very popular we can look at hosting this more regularly.
It is important that all aspects of firearm safety are adhered to while at the premises. All covid protocols apply. Please do not attend if you have been a close contact or are currently showing covid symptoms. Masks and sanitizer are recommended.

The Honeydew CPF, Military veterans and the SAPS reservists work closely with the Welview RA committee to help Welview residents have piece of mind.

PS: Welview RA fees are R150/month. The more members we have the more funds there will be for better cameras, road repairs and other things. Have a look on our FB page, if your home falls inside the demarcated Welview area then you are welcome to join.
